Proposal Finalization Phase & Additional Information

Dear Notice C Participants,

You are in the home stretch to finalize your proposal for Notice C. The proposal co-creation phase has ended, which means commenting on proposals has closed. The proposal finalization phase is the time to polish the proposal, ensure it meets all requirements listed in the respective RFA (C0, C1), and complete the budget and budget narrative. In order to ensure that budget information stays confidential please be sure these documents are uploaded in their designated upload areas on your proposal submission page. As we’ve mentioned in the past, we highly recommend your workplan and budget are organized by work package or workstream.

Please note that proposals that are incomplete or not finalized by the 11:59 PM PST deadline on September 18 will be disqualified from review by the Peer Review Committee and Governing Board and therefore ineligible for funding. To ensure your proposal is not disqualified, please ensure it meets all requirements listed in the RFA.

Some submitters may have joined concept notes to form a consortium team during the proposal co-creation phase. Others may decide that now is not the best time to move forward in submitting a full proposal and wish to archive your concept note for a future funding round. For those who wish to withdraw, consolidate proposal(s), or archive, please reach out to the Digital Square team as soon as possible and we will update the status of your proposal as appropriate. If you have any questions about any of these actions, please let us know.

Earlier this week, Digital Square hosted a Q&A call on the proposal finalization phase. There were some great questions posed by participants of Notice C! For those who missed the call, the Q&A’s are posted on the Digital Square wiki.

Should you have any further questions regarding the finalization phase, please reference the wiki, or reach out to the Digital Square team via Slack or email (digitalsquare@path.org).

Best,

The Digital Square team
