Two-sentence Overview: 

The objective of the project is to introduce a shelf-ready case management software with biometric identification. The solution specifically caters to local NGOs that combine health with other social services (e.g. counseling). These organizations suffer from not having customized data management systems as well as the negative effects of poor patient identification. Therefore, the open source case management software of Aam Digital will be made self-customizable and the biometric identification of Simprints will be integrated in a shelf-ready manner.

Shelf-ready interoperability by reconciling common geographies, hierarchies, and GIS between Instant OpenHIE components and external systems using FHIR

TerraFrame has developed an open-source Common Geo-Registry with support for FHIR that provides a single source of truth for managing geographic data over time to enable interoperability across multiple information systems. Our goal is to provide local teams with self-ready interoperability between Instant OpenHIE components and to facilitate trend analysis by creating semantic standards for locations and hierarchies with common geographies.

openIMIS/openMRS/DHIS2 integration

This project’s goal is to improve integrations between openIMIS, openMRS and DHIS2 in order to make them quicker, less burdensome, and smoother flows of information, especially regarding the quantity of data pushed from openIMIS/openMRS to DHIS2. Bluesquare will deliver specific software developments and pool its expertise in open source softwares and DHIS2 data warehouse together to achieve this goal.

The project’s goal is to make the existing openIMIS mobile applications (Policies management and Claims management) shelf-ready, by making them rely fully on openHIE standards, safe against data breaches and interoperable according to open source standards such as FHIR. Bluesquare will join forces of its Android development resources and its thorough knowledge of openIMIS and open source technologies to successfully upgrade these mobile applications.
